Solar Subsidy Scheme

We have done Solar Subsidy scheme Project more than 20 projects in an around Sivakasi.PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (Prime Minister's Solar Home: Free Electricity Scheme) is a major initiative launched by the Government of India on February 15, 2024. The scheme aims to provide free electricity up to 300 units per month by installing solar panels on 1 crore (10 million) homes across the country.

Key Benefits of the Scheme
  • Free Electricity: Eligible households will receive up to 300 units of electricity free of cost per month through solar power.
  • Government Subsidy: The government provides financial assistance for installing solar panels:
    ₹30,000 subsidy for a 1 kW solar system
    ₹60,000 subsidy for a 2kW solar system
    ₹78,000 subsidy for a 3 kW or higher solar system
  • Low-Interest Loans: Households can avail loans up to ₹2 lakh at a 6.75% interest rate without collateral for solar panel installation.
  • Sell Extra Electricity: If the household generates excess electricity, they can sell it back to the power grid, reducing overall electricity costs.

Off-grid Solar System

An off-grid solar system is a standalone power system that is not connected to the utility grid. It generates electricity from solar panels and stores it in batteries for later use, making it ideal for remote areas or locations with unreliable grid power.
